Administrative rules govern Utah’s fish and wildlife management
The administrative rules are passed by the Utah Wildlife Board. The Wildlife Board is authorized by Utah statute to determine many of the rules that govern wildlife and fisheries management in the state.
Utah’s wildlife administrative rules govern the actions of the Division of Wildlife Resources and how it manages Utah’s wildlife and wildlife-related activities.
These rules also provide a regulatory framework for the many different state, federal and local organizations involved in helping to stop the spread of aquatic invasive species like quagga mussels.
